This documentation depicts the legacy of Bruce Cox and his journey of becoming a founding member of the Alliance for West Oakland Development (AWOD). Through his dedication and commitment he impacted the lives of many within the city of Oakland. He created endless opportunities for under privileged youth and young adults to learn construction trades and helped them get job opportunities within the Construction industry. The Alliance for West Oakland Development will continue to build on the blue print that Bruce Cox designed for the organization and for communities around the world.
